New cases arise as 21 people had contracted Coronavirus in Kwara State, government announced on Wednesday.
Rafiu Ajakaiye chief press secretary to the governor disclosed this in a statement in Ilorin, and the discharged was also confirmed one patient from the state’s isolation centre.
The fresh cases brought the number of confirmed COVID-19 patients in the state to 422, according to him.
As at 10:00 pm on Tuesday, Ajakaiye said the number of active cases is 228 and 180 patients have been discharged so far and 14 deaths have been recorded.
