ASIA UPDATE: New Rocket Warships Join Iranian Navy's Southern Fleet

Basically, with the new Warship joining the Iranian Navy’s southern fleet. The vessel is categorized in Iran’s Paykan-class rocket launching.

And this homegrown missile-launching corvette would amplify the Navy’s combat capabilities in the country’s southern waters.

According to reports, there is something called ‘Zereh,’ which means ‘Armor’ in Persian. We all know that a missile launcher is one of the country’s powerful vessels with the best high speed and perfect maneuverability.

The Warship is equipped with advanced automatic missiles and artillery. Now the Warship has passed all its coastal and maritime tests and is fully ready to embark on missions.

However, the Iranian Navy also unveiled a helicopter carrier dubbed ‘Makran’ developed by Iranian experts of the Navy.

Reports claim that Chief of Staff of Iranian Armed Forces Major General Bagheri order the Warship to join the naval fleet of southern coasts on Tuesday.

Navy Commander Rear Admiral Hossein Khanzadi said the same class’s remaining vessels would indeed be produced in the coming years.

In previous years, it was revealed that Iran’s naval forces had increased their presence on high seas to secure and monitor naval routes and protect vessels against pirate attacks.

Now, the Iranian Navy has dispatches flotillas, as they involved the homegrown naval gear to the international waters on a routine basis.
