According to local reports, Many people were killed in northeastern Nigeria on Wednesday at Bama region of Borno state.
Boko Haram terrorists targeted a helicopter and five people got killed in the incident.
This so called Boko Haram launched a bloody insurgency in 2009 in northeastern Nigeria but later spread its atrocities to neighboring Niger, Cameroon and Chad, bringing a military response.
With the situation, over 30,000 people have been killed and closing to 3 million displaced in a decade of Boko Haram’s violence in Nigeria, UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs says.
The Boko Haram violence in the country has caused a lot of trouble and affected 26 million people in the Lake Chad region and displaced 2.6 million others.
