A confirmation was made on Wednesday by Femi Gbajabiamila, the Speaker of House of Reps that President Muhammadu Buhari will address the house over the insecurity in Nigeria.
The lawmaker spoke to State House correspondents after meeting with Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
A date had been agreed and will be made public soon, Gbaja disclosed.
The President of Nigeria is so much concerned about the spate of insecurity in the country, the speaker said.
Green Chamber of the National Assembly agreed on a motion to invite Buhari on Tuesday at the plenary.
All this came up following the Borno massacre by Boko Haram last weekend.
About 70 farmers from Zabarmari were said to have been slaughtered in Koshebe village, after the Boko Haram leaders revealed through video.
Plan over insecurity will be made between the President and House of Reps.
