Dominic Raab, who is a British Foreign Secretary has called on the Nigerian Government to do the necessary thing over the #EndSARS protesters.
He said in his tweet on Wednesday, FG to immediately probe the shooting of EndSARS protesters by soldiers at Lekki toll gate on Tuesday night.
The moment after the incident was discussed at the UK Parliament, Raab tweeted.
“I am deeply concerned by the violence in Nigeria, including widespread reports of civilian deaths. We call for an end to all violence.
“The Nigerian government must urgently investigate reports of brutality by its security forces and hold those responsible to account,” he wrote.
The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu imposed a curfew on the state yesterday, starting from 4pm on Tuesday, but barely after that Nigerian soldiers shoot the unarmed protesters at Lekki toll gate plaza.
Though the governor said only one person killed in the incident, while eyewitness claimed that over 70 people died in the sporadic shooting.
Right now, President Buhari yet to address the country on the present issue.
