Dubai Ruler Sends Food, Medical Aid To Nigeria Over Covid-19

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Prime Minister of United Arab Emirates, has ordered the shipment of what is described as urgent humanitarian support to Nigeria.

According to a series of tweets on official Twitter handle of the government of Dubai Media Office, @DXBMediaOffice, is to assist Nigeria in fighting the COVID-19 global pandemic, this what prompt the gesture.

According to the tweets, the relief shipments include 14 tonnes of medical supplies and 20 tonnes of food supplies.

All the food and medical aid were dispatched on Sunday from the International Humanitarian City in Dubai, while the tweets added that the ruler also sent relief to Sudan.
