The #EndSARS protests have been hijacked by hoodlums which is leading to looting, invaded and vandalization of government and private property in the state.
But the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Osun State Chapter has now condemned the current looting and vandalization in the country.
The good intentions of better society started the EndSARS protest which began in peacefull manner, but later hijacked by thugs along the run.
Osun governor imposed 24-hour curfew in the state, and youth council in Osun State in collaboration with the stakeholders of EndSARS distanced themselves from miscreants during the curfew.
Some very low minded people attacked the governor Isiaka Gboyega Oyetola during the EndSARS which hijacked by miscreants.
Now, the national youth of Nigeria in a statement signed by its chairman, Comrade Ismail Abdulazeez and made this know that the incident was unacceptable and undemocratic.
People stealing in a broad daylight with excuse of claiming taking palliatives not distributed and described the act as looting. It has created panic, confusion in the country.
“The National Youth Council of Nigeria Osun state under the leadership of Comrade Ismail Abdulazeez and other major protest leaders hereby appeal to all the youths to please suspend all forms of street protests and engage the panel of inquiry actively on any form of the demands. #EndSARS, #Endpolicebrutality,” he said.
