For some days now, the President of Fenerbahce, Emre Belozoglu, and Mesut Ozil have been having some meetings, reports say.
Ozil agreed on a three-and-a-half-year deal with the Fenerbahce club, and he will leave Arsenal club imminently.
A sports report said, Ozil, a German playmaker, said to be keen on a move to Turkey; however, Mesut Ozil has chosen Fenerbahce despite Major League Soccer (MLS) interest.
The English Premier League club, Arsenal, will have to pay part of Ozil’s salary at the Turkish club for the first six months.
Starting from next season, Mesut Ozil will receive a €2.5m sign-on fee and €5m annual salary.
After the transfer is complete, it will bring an end to a saga at the Emirates.
