Dr. Lekan Fadolapo, the newly appointed Registrar/CEO of the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON) got a visits from the Members of the executive board of the Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN) on Friday at the APCON House, Iganmu, Lagos.
According to report, the statement signed by Mrs Tope Jemerigbe, AAAN publicly secretary, Babaeko expressed the desire of the association to work effectively with the new APCON.
Mr. Steve Babaeko led the association as the President. The statement quoted Babaeko as stating that the primary concern of the industry is the reconstitution of the APCON Council.
He added that the newly appointed APCON, Dr. Lekan Fadolapo will boost the process for the implementation of the Advertising reform, with the cogent issue affecting the industry since.
Faolapo assured the AAAN Board of his support from his speech when appointed. Then he stated that APCON was putting strategies in place to advance, and enhanced the development of the industry.
APCON Deputy Director, Mrs. Ijedi Iyoha, commended AAAN on its adherence to practice rules and regulations, laid down by the council.
Mrs. Ijedi Iyoha, charged the Association not to relent for any moment in its support of APCON.
Mr. Jenkins Alumona, the AAAN Vice President thanked everyone and especially the APCON team for a warm reception as he assured the team of the Association’s continued support anytime.
