Governor Sanwo-Olu Imposes Curfew, Bans Parties In Lagos Over Covid-19 Second Wave

Announcement was made by the Lagos governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Friday as the Covid-19 surged in Nigeria, and which lead to banned of parties and carnivals in the state.

In a statement, the governor also imposed a curfew from midnight to 4am daily.

All this is to aimed at curbing the spread of the coronavirus across the state. Not only parties was banned, night club was also ordered to remain closed till further notice.

The governor further emphasized the need for residents of the state to wear their facemask.

While the midnight to 4am curfew imposed by the Federal Government remains in place.

However, the protocol of ‘no mask no entry’ must be enforced by all public places: offices, businesses, markets, shops, and so on.”

Coronavirus is real, let’s follow all the rules to stop the spread of the virus.
