Gunners To Appeal David Luiz’s Red Card Against Wolves – EPL

The Arsenal defender, David Luiz was sent off during the match against Wolves after referee Craig Pawson deemed that he tripped Willian Jose in the box as the first half ended.

He got a red card immediately, but Arsenal will have to appeal for David Luiz over the red card, Goal reports.

Ruben Naeves got back with a return goal to make it 1-1 at Molineux, canceling out Nicolas Pepe’s opener.

However, the host won, and thanks to Joao Moutinho for the superb effort.

Arsenal believes that Luiz’s challenge was accidental and they will now be appealing for the sent off.

After the match, Arsenal has studied the footage and strongly feel that contact was minimal during that scene.

Manager Mikel Arteta said we will have to speak and make the decision about what’s the best thing to do.
