The EndSARS campaign in Nigeria is rising, as many people stand out to protest against SARS brutality in the country.
While Sunday Dare, Minister of Youths and Sports on Monday has urged the famous Nigerian singer, Naira Marley to refrain from embarking on his peaceful protest.
Dare said the grievances faced by Nigerians are being addressed, hence no need to embark on peaceful protest.
However, Naira Marley had called for a peaceful protest in Nigeria over the Operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS for their illegality, bad behavior in the country.
But the Nigerian star, had vowed to lead the protest against injustice out on Nigerians.
The Minister said the federal government was determined to tackle the issue, and advised the singer against the protest.
The Minister, Sunday Dare, wrote in a tweet: “I urge you and other youth not to embark upon any protest. Your grievances are being addressed at the highest level of government.
He added that, as Minister in charge of youth i know this is an issue that must be tackled, and Government is doing just that to make everything possible in the country.
