The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the NCDC announced 300 new infections of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic outbreak in the country.
After some weeks of recording a low number of cases in the country, the 300 new cases bring the total number of infections in Nigeria to 64,090.
It was report on and verified on Sunday by NCDC. while 26 patients from isolation centers also discharge across the country.
Lagos state reported 225 new Covid-19 cases, and this is the highest number of single day infections since August 22.
The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has 27 infections; Oyo 10; Kaduna 5; Ondo 2 and Kano 1.
Total discharged cases is 59,910, and the national death toll remains 1,154 for fourth consecutive day.
