Gisthubcity News reports the President Muhammadu Buhari statement concerning the Covid-19 second wave of pandemic in the Nigeria.
Buhari warned that Nigeria’s economy is too bad presently for new coronavirus lockdown in the country.
As this was disclosed on Thursday from his Twitter handle @MBuhari.
“Mere looking at the pandemic trends in other countries as got them so much concern, we must do all possible means to avert a second wave of coronavirus in Nigeria.
“Also, we have to make sure our cases did not rise again. Because our economy is too fragile to bear another round of lockdown,” Buhari wrote.
Recall as Nigeria already experience total lockdown which lasted for about five weeks on parts of the country, and that same lockdown must not repeat again.
