Police Post Burn Down In A/Ibom By A Suspected Cultists

According to report, some cultists involved in bloody clashes in Inen community in Oruk Anam local government area, Akwa Ibom state on Monday night.

Those cultists called Dbam and Iceland, burned down police post at Inen junction and residents flee their homes during the clashed.

Inen Ekeffe is the policemen posted to the substation, and absconded from their duty post in the wake of cult related violence in the area.

Report claims that the cultists always overpower the police, killing and maiming members of rival gangs and innocent people in the community.

Mfonobong Okorie, an eyewitness, explained that the cultists numbering over 30 barricaded the community road between Faith Tabernacle Church,  Inen Ikot Etim and the gate of Al Madal construction company where they snatched two motorcycles belonging to one Udeme Atanong and Ndifreke Otu respectively.

People living the area can’t stay their houses due to the cultists violence. as they molested anybody on the road.

But after some hours the cultists regrouped and burn down the police substation at about 7pm chanting war songs in Inen junction, Okorie said.
