1. 200,000 Bed spaces to be provide for Nigeria’s Tertiary Institution – TETFund

Mr Kashim Ibrahim-Imam, the chairman of TETFund Board of Trustees disclosed this in Abuja at the agency’s 2020 Board Retreat, says 200,000 bed spaces wil be provided for students in various tertiary institutions in the country.

2. The Nigeria building demolished to be rebuild by Ghana government

The building located at 19/21, Julius Nyerere street, Accra was demolished by unknown people and for that reason, the Ghana government has offered to rebuild the structure belonging to the Nigeria High Commission.

3. Bowen University sacks 10% of it workforce

4. Nigeria’s GDP forecast, says economy will shrnk by 5.4%

The report said for the first time, all regions were projected to experience negative growth in 2020.

The IMF had in April 2020 projected that the country’s economy would contract by 3.4 per cent this year.

It stated that, ‘Global growth is projected at –4.9 per cent in 2020, 1.9 percentage points below the April 2020 World Economic Outlook forecast.
