According to Dr. Sani Aliyu, the National Coordinator of the Presidential task Force, disclosed this on Tuesday at the PTF press briefing in Abuja.
Said Federal Government release a total sum of N50 billion to all 36 states in Nigeria in capacities in testing and surveillance for the Covid-19 virus.
He added that each states got at least N1billion, expressed concerns on the poor testing rates in most of the states.
Sani Aliyu, commended Lagos State and the Federal Capital Territory for hitting target of testing at least one per cent of their populations.
The National Coordinator, noted that Plateau, Gombe and Rivers have already gone beyond 50 per cent mark of the target.
But most states have not even reached a quarter of this and things have to get done.
