Reports of 20 doctors contracted the Covid-19 disease for the past three weeks in Kwara State revealed.
Dr. Badmus Habeeb, the President of the Resident Doctors (ARD) of the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH), said 20 medical doctors tested positive for the coronavirus.
While speaking during an interview with Channels TV, Badmus explained that the association was battling with the pandemic, based on the available resources.
He added that coronavirus vaccines’ discovery had brought hope and relief to everyone.
The vaccines have so far proven to be more effective, saying that Nigerians need to get vaccinated once it arrives, he said.
The possibility of getting the vaccine now is uncertain; the only way presently is that the public should adhere strictly to the laid down protocol, he said.
