The 7th Evacuation Flight For Stranded Nigerians In US Approved – FG

A lot of Nigerians citizen got stranded in US as the coronavirus pandemic hit the world, the federal government has now approved the seventh evacuation flight for stranded Nigerians from American.

According to a statement from the Consulate General of Nigeria in US, said the flight is scheduled to depart George Bush International Airport, Houston, Texas on Saturday, 15th August, 2020 by 15:00hrs and would arrive Abuja on 16th August, 2020 at 09:00 am.

And the flight would arrive at Murtala Mohammad International Airport, Lagos on the same day at 11:00am.

The Consulate stressed that prospective evacuees, who purchased tickets, should forward a copy of their evacuation ticket, together with the name, phone number and contact address of their next of kin to info@Nigerian-Consulate-atl-org.

It noted that the sale of tickets would be done on a first come, first served basis.

The Consulate said that in accordance with the presidential Task Force (PTF) on Covid-19, all the evacuees must present their original copy of Covid-19 negative test result , not older than 14 days on the day of departure and preferably not less than five days on the day of departure.

Proper temperature check before departure would be allowed to make sure everyone safety is assured.
