Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Sunday Igboho, the Yoruba rights activist, has warned the Federal Government to unfreeze his bank accounts now or face massive protests in the South West.
Reports revealed that Igboho said and confirmed that all his accounts were frozen just because some people were collecting donations.
But he said he had no hand in the donations. Sunday Igboho, who already issued a quit notice to Fulani herdsmen in Oyo and Osun States, added that he was ready and determined to end criminality in the region.
“Right now, they have frozen my bank accounts because I am fighting a just cause; I know Yoruba people are behind me.
“Therefore, I will not relent, and I must achieve my aims by putting more effort and end this criminality in Yoruba land.
If the Federal government refused to unfreeze my accounts, there would be severe protests across the South-West. The Yoruba live in fear; they are afraid that the killer-herdsmen might attack them, he said.
