Abubakar Sani Bello, Niger State Governor has tested positive for coronavirus and his into isolation.
The Governor took to his Twitter page on Monday evening to confirm and announced that he had tested positive for the deadly virus called Covid-19.
Bello wrote; “I have tested positive to #COVID19. However, I am asymptomatic and have gone into isolation.”
GIsthubcity News reports from the update from Nation reported as three commissioners tested positive for coronavirus last week, while other commissioners were directed to undergo the test.
But Ahmed Ibrahim Matane, the secretary to the Niger State Government (SSG) had confirmed that the commissioners tested positive, denied it the next day, saying the claim was false.
He claimed that no one in the state executive council had tested positive for the coronavirus in the state.
The present condition of the Governor Bello is still normal.
